Having different skin color has been widely known as one of facial problems that often happens.
The fact is that even celebrities need help in this case
Makeup expert knows that the key to a flawless face is not perfect makeup applications, but the even skin tone.
Even skin tone is the key to a flawless face.
The idea is to make it appear as if you are not wearing any makeup at all, which can be achieved by the following methods
1. Exfoliation
By not doing routine exfoliation could lead to accumulated dead skin cells on your skin surface.
Thus, your skin will appear dull and even older.
With improper exfoliation affect your makeup application such as moisturizer, which will not soak in properly, or foundation, which could not smooth over your skin.
Exfoliation is best achieved with microdermabrasion, chemical peels, face scrubs, beta alpha hydroxy pads or any Vitamin A product like Retin-A.
2. Prep the Face
Foundations and tinted moisturizers glide better over a moisturized, plumped face compared to the dry one.
Plump up skin with a primer or moisturizers with SPF at least 15. Using primer is better than moisturizers.
3. Even Out Skin Tone
Applying tinted moisturizer or foundation is the next step.
Ensure that you choose the correct foundation that blends into skin perfectly.
Apply only on the areas that need it most: Normally along the nose, cheeks and chin.
4. Cover the Under-Eye Circles, Blemishes and Red Spots
The unwanted appearance under the eyes can be removed by patting (not rubbing) a few dots of creamy concealer.
5. Prep the Lids
It is highly recommended to apply a lid base to lids to even out the skin tone, even though you are not going to apply any eyeshadow.
Most people’s lids have blue veins. Concealing them with a base or primer created for the lids could help even out your overall skin tone.
6. Return the Color
At this moment, you might notice that your skin lacks color. This happens generally once the skin tone is evened out.
The solution is to return your skin color with bronzer, a creamy blush or both.
Apply bronzing powder with a big fluffy brush on all the spots the sun naturally hits: Forehead, cheeks and nose.
Follow with a creamy blush on the apple of your cheeks. (Cream blushes create a “dewy” complexion better than powder blushes, and help plump up skin).
7. Set the Face
Finally, the last step is to set your face with powder.
Even though this depends on your face and taste. Some people avoid this because they love the devvy complexion without powder.
However, some make makeup artists insist on this step.without powder. Plus, at this point, I’m lazy. But many makeup artists insist on this step.
Another addition that you can apply is the usage of mascara and a hint of glossy makeup to make yourself fantastic.
