A facial treatment spa is a non-medical procedure to help the health of the body.

It is commonly used by people who are looking for professionally administered personal facial care treatments.

A sumptuous range of facial treatments are usually offered to suit all skin types and skin needs.

The facial cleansing makes use of a variety of products which mainly consist of herbal ingredients.

The facial spa treatment can be divided into a few treatments. The following is just an example of a spa treatment:

- Cucumber Toner

Cucumber Toner is a wonderful toner to balance and tone oily and acneic skin.

This famous method is carried out using cucumber cut into chunks with the help of witch hazel.

The fresh scent of cucumber makes it a pleasure to use as well as effective.

To use, apply with a cotton pad immediately after cleansing skin.

- Facial Scrub

Some ingredients may include honey, oat, cornmeal and others depending on the spa treatment.

To use, simply mix the ingredients into a paste using a fork.

Then apply the mixture to face generously.

After a few minutes, scrub in circular movements gently.

Finally rinse off with warm water.

- Moisturising Mask

Mainly used for those with oversensitive skin or just too dry or perhaps its been damaged by too much sunbathing.

This provides a blanket of soothing protection, particularly if the skin is inflamed, sore and raw or just extremely dry.

It’s a tremendous emergency moisturising treatment that will act to hydrate and nourish the skin and protect its outermost surface.

Combine mixed sesame oil, peeled avocado and plain yoghurt in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Massage mask evenly onto the face and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

- Herbal or Aromatic Steam

Drop lavender essential oil and neroli essential oil or other fresh herbs into 1 litre boiled water in a pot.

While it is still steaming, lean face over pot and drape a towel over your head, trapping the steam.

Relax and breathe deeply for 3-5 minutes.

Repeat 3-5 times.

- Soothing Moisturiser

This is used to penetrate skin quickly leaving skin silky soft for hours.

Whisk ingredients and gently apply a mixture of aloe vera gel and sesame oil in circular motions.

Aloe Vera is delicately soothing and sesame oil helps reduce puffiness.

In addition, the products for spa can be made at home.
